Snow Capped Mountain Tour (  07 Days / 06 Nights  )

 

             

 

Day 1. Yangon Arrival(D)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome by guide and transfer to hotel. Check in hotel, relax for a while. Afternoon visit to Chaukhtutgyi Pagoda, ( The huge reclining Buddha ), and Shwedagon Pagoda, dating from 1769 and one of the largest and most venerated Buddhist shrines in the world. Rising 326 feet, it is covered with solid gold plates and its peak is covered with precious stones – diamonds, rubies, sapphires and more. The original pagoda, built in 585BC, is said to contain eight hairs given to Burmese traders by the Buddha. Enjoy views of the setting sun before dinner. Myanmar Buffet Dinner and cultural show at Karaweik Palace Restaurant. Overnight in Yangon.

 

Day 2. Yangon – Putao ( By Flight ) ( B/L/D )
Arrive at Putao. Transfer to Hotel and make check-in. In the afternoon sightseeing to Fort which was built during the colonial time and Jaungdan Tharthana Pyu Monastery and Pagoda, trekking around the Mounggnor and visit the famous Legend Stone Dragon and nearest Villages. Overnight at Putao.  Day 3. Putao – Machanbaw - Kaung Mu – Lon ( By Car ) ( B/L/D ). Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to Machanbaw by car after 6 miles of tarred road and 8 miles of cobbled road and can be reached by crossing cable bridge suspended over the Malikha River on foot. Machanbaw Town is on the east bank of Malikha river and endowed with beautiful and interesting natural scenery. Along the way varieties of birds and many different kinds of butterflies can be seen. Fruits such as Oranges, Grapefruits, Washington's, King Fruits and Blood Fruits are  bundance in this beautiful town. And then proceed to Kaung Mu Lon. Visit to Hta Wa  Dame village beside Malikha River 9 miles far from Putao by car and crossing the Malikha River by raft or boat and hiking upstream for 5 furlong and reach the historical Kaung Mu Lon Pagoda built by the Khanti Shan Tribes. Drive back to Putao. Night stop in Putao.

 

Day 4. Putao – Mandalay ( By Flight ) ( B/L/D )
Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to airport for departure flight to Manndalay. Arrive Mandalay airport and then drive to Mandalay for hotel check – in. In the evening visit Yaw Min Gyi Oke Kyaung, at the foot of Mandalay Hill is a two storied building very much in the Western style with tall columns, grand flights of stairs and arched doorway. Kyauk Taw Gyi, Great stone’ image at the foot of Mandalay Hill also earned merit for King Mindon. The image was carved from a single block of alabaster. To consecrate the image he painted in the eyes. The Sagyin quarries near Mandalay where this block was mined are still in production. Sightseeing in  Mandalay Hill which is panoramic view of the city Mandalay. Gave the city its name. Alothough thecity was officially named Yadanabon or Mound of Gems, people always called it after the name of the hill. The hill top offers unforgettable sunset views of the city, the palace walls and the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner and night stop in Mandalay.

 

Day 5. Mandalay – Laiso ( By Flight ) ( B/L/D )
Breakfast at Hotel. Morning visit to the most venerable Mahamuni Pagoda; Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops: marble works, woodcarvings, gold-leaf making and tapestry works. After lunch, fly to Laiso by Air KBZ        ( 13:45 ) pm, arrive at Laiso airport ( 14:30 )pm. Transfer to Laiso Motel. Dinner and overnight in Laiso.

 

Day 6. Laiso – Yangon ( By Flight ) ( B/L/D ) by Air Bagan
Morning sightseeing start Lashio is particularly beautiful from November to February, the cool months when the trees are in bloom. Early morning, visit the colorful local market where you can often see minority people selling their produce. Continue to Quen Yin San Chinese Temple, possibly the largest Chinese temple in Myanmar and always busy with Lashio’s many Chinese residents. Visit Sasana 2500 Pagoda, which enjoys nice views over Lashio, and then Mansu Pagoda, said to be over 250 years old. Continue to Thiri Mingala Man Kyaung, a monastery, which people visit from far and wide to see a monk who is believed to be able to predict fortunes very accurately. Afternoon, fly to Yangon ( 15:30 )pm . Arrive at Yangon airport ( 17:15 )pm. Overnight in Yangon.

 

Day 7. Departure day ( B )
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and drive to airport for your departure.
