Yangon – Bagan - Mandalay –Yangon ( 5 Days / 4 Nights ) Package Tour LDC Trip
Day 01: ARRIVAL YANGON (D)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Meet & greet by guide and transfer to hotel, check in hotel and relax for a while. Evening visit to Early evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda (Land mark of Yangon ) - 2500 years old the world famous sputa having a beautiful sun-set. Myanmar buffet dinner and Cultural show at Karaweik Palace restaurant in Kandawgyi Natural Park. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon – Bagan by Express Air-conditioned Bus ( B/L/D )
Bagan was the seat of power of the First Empire of Myanmar, founded by King Anawrahta, which extended to the border of present day Cambodia. The thousand-year-old temples of which over two – thousand are left of the original four-thousand, are living places of worship maintained through history by public and State funds.
After breakfast , ( 06:30 )am, check out hotel, pick up by guide and depart to Bagan by LDC ( Driving hr 10 hrs ), Evening, ( 14:00 ~16:30 ) pm, arrive at Bagan, proceed visit to Bagan, thousands of pagodas and temples you'll encounter in Bagan will make it one of the most unforgettable cities in Asia. Your time in this town will take you from the glittering golden stupa of the Shwezigon Pagon, to the murals of the Wetkyi-Gubyaukgyi cave shrine, to the elegant plaster carvings of Htilominto Temple. This afternoon, catch a horse car-riage from Ananada Temple for a ride among the ruins of the town. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Bagan. Hotel : Bagan Thade Hotel or Similar
Day 03: Bagan - Mandalay by Express Bus ( B/L/D ) ( 4 hrs driving )
Option ; Early morning wake up from your night dream and you will be picked up by BALLOON OVER BAGAN ferry to fly by balloons; “Ride balloon over Bagan to feel the panoramic view of ancient Bagan” Experience Bagan by flying at the sky, after your flying back to your hotel for having breakfast.
Today start Archaeological Museum, this museum run by Archaeological Department is situated near the Ananda temple. It has a collection of more than 2000 items including Buddhas Statues, stucco pieces, terra-cotta cups and pots. Open from 09:30 am to 15:00 pm daily except Monday and public holidays. The new large museum is under construction and it will exhibit more ancient artifacts. Dhammayangyi (a temple of massive and finest brick works), Thabyunyu Temple ( King Alaung Sithu was the donor of this magnificent, white-washed temple, the tallest in Bagan at 201 ft ( 64 m ), Gawtawpalin ( King Narapati Situ built this graceful temple ) Sulamuni Temple, ( the pagoda temple like Htilominlo and the Gawdawpalin with better interior lighting. It stands beyond the Dhammayangyi Temple and was built in A.D. 1181 by Narapatisithu. The interior was once painted with fine frescoes but only traces can be seen today.) Panoramic view of sun setting land Bupaya Pagoda (Not far from Gawtawpalin is a pagoda spire in the shape of a gourd in the bank of Ayeyarwady river. After that, drive to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 04: Mandalay S/S – Yangon by LDC ( B/L/D )
After breakfast, tour start to Mandalay featuring Museum and Palace houses a collection of article such as Royal costume Palm-Leave Manuscripts, Wood carving, Palace hall, King office, King bed room, Queen bed room, Palace tower. Mahamuni Pagoda was built to enshrine the Maha Muni Image, nearly 13ft (4m) high. It is covered with so much gold leaf that its body has lost all proportion. Only the face washed with ceremony each dawn, is not allowed to be gilded. Each of the four walkways leading to it has a different character according to the wares sold in the shops. One is lined with the descendents of the Brahmin astrologers who served at court, practicing the same profession of telling fortunes and writing astrological readings on elaborately decorated palm-leaf packets for new-born bodies. Kuthodaw Pagoda, known officially as the Mahalawka Marazein Kuthodaw Pagoda, is called “ the largest book in the world” King Mindon who founded Mandalay as a new capital in 1859 held the Fifth Buddhist Synod in 1872. Over a period of eight years, the texts were recited and corrected as necessary by a presiding body of monks and the results were inscribed on 729 marble slabs. Shwe Nadaw ; Mandalay has hundreds of monasteries and many are still being built. The most beautiful is the Shwe Nandaw, or Golden Palace Monastery, called Shwe Kyaung by the locals .It was once the private residence of king Mindon, who died there. His heir moved it outside the palace and donated it to a monastery, thus saving it from the destruction of Would War Two. This teak pavilion carved all over with motifs and mythical creatures was once entirely covered in thick gold, inside and out but only the interior gold remains for the tropical weather is too harsh. Evening visit to Yaw Min Gyi Oke Kyaung, at the foot of Mandalay Hill is a two storied building very much in the Western style with tall columns, grand flights of stairs and arched doorway. Sightseeing in Mandalay Hill which is panoramic view of the city Mandalay. Gave the city its name. Although the city was officially named Yadanabon or Mound of Gems, people always called it after the name of the hill. The hill top offers unforgettable sunset views of the city, the palace walls and the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner at local restaurant. After that, drive back to Yangon. Overnight on bus.
Day 05: Yangon – fly ur home land ( B )
Morning ( 05:00 )am, arrive back Yangon, take a breakfast and proceed drive to airport for departure.
