Program 2 - Scenic  & Magic Myanmar trip (Tour code : AD22015gg)

 

             

 

Day 01) Yangon – Arrival
Arrive at Yangon International Airport, warmly welcome by Go & Go’ staff and transfer to Yuzana Garden Hotel *** ( Located : Downtown Area ) Yuzana Garden Hotel is Colonial building and Pioneer Disco club at Yuzana Garden Compound ) You can enjoy Pioneer Disco Club .or Similar. Check in hotel by staff and overnight in there.

 

Day 02) Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda by coach (B/L/D)
Early morning driving to Kyaikhtiyo 4 hrs driving. On the way Arrive at base camp and them climbing with special coach to Golden Rock Temple compound looking the sightseeing. It is the famous legendary Pagoda on the Golden Rock and is  also an attractive one for those who love hiking. Crossing through the tropical jungle by a rocky path, listening to the birds’ singing, it is a fantastic journey to the TOP. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo Hill Hotel.

 

Day 03) KyeikHtio – Bgao – Yangon  by coach ( B/L/D )
After your breakfast, take photo around the hotel area, the hills around and pagoda compound. Back to Yangon and along the way, sightseeing will go to Bago an ancient royal city o f 15th centaury. Visit to Shwe Maw Daw pagoda, Kalayar Ni Si ma (the ordination hall), and Le MyatHnar pagoda (the four gigantic sitting Buddha).Lunch at Sane Le` Tin Hotel and restaurant.  After that back to Yangon, on the way excursion to HtautKyant War Cemetery, it has 27,000 tombstones of Allied soldiers who lost their lives in Myanmar during the World War II. The cemetery is a calm, peaceful place and is beautifully tended. The large and beautifully landscaped cemetery is under the care of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Arrive in Yangon, continue transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 04) Yangon ( B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour in Yangon features : High lights Shwedagon Pagoda (world famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to height of 326 feet), Sule Pagoda,   ( the elegant, small gold spire, is reputed to be even order than the 2500 year old Shwedagon but there are no contemporary record. ), what is situated in down town of Yangon.
Excursion to Roman Catholic Church( high towering of Saint Mary Cathedral and the Roman Catholic is the center of the city. This church was built in 1910. It is the glorious monument and architectural beauty to the indomitable and genius of architect  REVEREND FATHER HENDRICK JANZEN. After that walk for a while in down town to see the way of life of Myanmar people. Enjoy your lunch in local restaurant. Sightseeing to Myanmar National MUSEUM what is famous for it’s displaying Items (including Lion’s throne) and other in heritage items of Myanmar. Shopping and sightseeing to BogyokeAung San Market, a shopping center of Yangon, which is a great place to pride up traditional and not traditional handicrafts, artworks, small antiques and junk jewellery. Evening sightseeing in China Town Temple( one of the busiest places of the city is China Town in the western part of the city. Multitude of the stalls are selling variety from textiles, herbs, household goods to delicious local fruits and Chinese eatable foods. Chinese Temple also can be seen in the center of the city, decorated by the Chinese Traditional arts and crafts .)This tour to discover the colorful capital of Myanmar with a close look at the local life of this historical city. By the car and partly on foot this tour.

Ancient City Tour in Bagan
Day (5)            -           Yangon - Bagan by flight (B/L/D)

Early morning pick up by guide, drive to airport, fly to Nyaung U airport by Air Bagan or Air Mandalay or Yangon Airway International ( 06:30 )am, arrive at Nyaung U airport ( 08:15 )am, Transfer to BaganAyar River View Hotel *** or BaganThande Hotel, check in hotel, relax for a while in Lobby, after that, sightseeing in Bagan features :

Tour Highlights :
Myazedi Pagoda and Pillar and MyingabarKybyaukkyi, ( It was built by Prince Rajakuma who was content to allow his nephew, AlaungSithu, to be named crown prince instead of him, for the had been born to a country woman and came too late to court. The stone inscription he left is a beautiful dedication of love to his father, King Kyansit – Tha. The murals, protected from sunlight inside this drink temple, are spectacular. ) Archaeological  Museum, (this museum run by Archaeological Department is situated near the Ananda Temple. It has a collection of more than 2000 items including Buddhas Statues, stucco pieces, terra-cotta cups and pots. Open from 09:30 am to 15:00 pm daily except Monday and public holidays. The new large museum is under construction and it will exhibit more ancient artifacts. Arnadar Temple(the most attractive feature of archaeological design some what like a Greek cross),. Dhammayangyi( a temple of massive and finest brick works). Thabyunyu Temple( KingAlaungSithu was the donor of this magnificent, white-washed temple, the tallest in Bagan at 201 ft ( 64 m ). Gawtawpalin( KingNarapati Situ built this graceful temple ).  Sulamuni Temple,( the pagoda temple like Htilominlo and the Gawdawpalin with better interior lighting. It stands beyond the Dhammayangyi Temple and was built in A.D. 1181 by Narapatisithu. The interior was once painted with fine frescoes but only traces can be seen today.). Panoramic view of sun setting land Bupaya Pagoda (  Not far from Gawtawpalin is a pagoda spire in the shape of a gourd in the bank of  Ayeyarwady river. Overnight in Bagan.

 

Day (6)            -           Bagan – Mt .Popa – Bagan by coach (B/L/D)
Early morning wake up from your night dream and you will be picked up by BALLOON OVER BAGAN ferry to fly by balloons; “Ride balloon over Bagan to feel the panoramic view of ancient Bagan”. Experience Bagan by flying at the sky, after your flying back to your hotel for having breakfast.

After breakfast, morning excursion to Mt. Popa (rose from the ground are result of an earthquake 442 BC. Mt. Popa, known as Myanmar of Olympia, is 30 miles away from Bagan and is also a place, believed to be spiritual world. Mt. Popa, a 1500 metres (4981 feet) high and extinct volcano, is surrounded by EVER GREEN reserved forest with a MONKEY VILLAGE. Lunch and sightseeing in Popa surrounding Area and Popa Resort Hotel & Restaurant. Back to Bagan.Sightseeing in DhamaYarZika pagoda.Overnight in Bagan.

 

Chin Hill Tour
Day (7)            -           Bagan – Pakokku – Kanpalet( B/L/D )

Morning across the Aye YarWaddy river by ferry and arrive to Pakokku, continued Kanpaletthrough dry zone. Late noon or early evening  start to taste the hill land of Chin state. View many of hilly houses and people. ArriveKanpalaet at evening and overnight in Mountain Oasis resort.

 

Day (8)            -           Kanpalet – Aye village (Base camp) – Mt: Victoria – Kanpalet(B/L/D)
Early morning leave to Aye Camp about 05:30 am, round about 09:00 am arrive to Aye base camp and take photos. Hill up to the peak. Arrive to peak about 13:00 pm and have your lunch.  Evening back to Kanpalet and overnight in Kanpalet.

 

Day (9)            -           Kanpalet – Pakokku – Bagan( B/L/D )
Next morning trip back to Pakokku and arrive Bagan at late afternoon. Check in for your room and sunset view at Shwe San Daw pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.

 

Shan State City Tour
Day (10)          -           Bagan – Heho Airport – Inlay Lake by flight  (B/L/D)

Morning check out hotel, fly to Heho airport by Air Bagan, arrive at airport and continue transfer to Inlay Lake, ( 11 miles  ( 17.7km ) in the NyaungShwe basin of Southern Shan State at an altitude of 2918 ft ( 889m) above sea level included with floating islands. Inlay Lake is famous for its unique leg rowers, floating villages and colorful markets held once in five days at village around the Inle Lake in interesting being full of pageantry and colorful splendor. Check in Inlay Paradise Hotel*** or Similar, relax for  awhile.  Overnight in Inle Resort Hotel or Similar.

Day (11)          -           Inlay Lake (B/L/D)
After breakfast, excursion to Indian Pagada Complex by boat.( is on the western bank of the Lake a cluster of over five hundred shrines reached by a boat along a pleasant stream. The ruined 17th century pagodas include beautifully carved mythical and celestial beings of stone. ). Taung To Pagoda Complex, ( Taung To Village has a pagoda complex smaller than its contemporary Indian but no less beautiful. It lies further south on the west bank ). Observation on worldwide famous wetland ecosystem of Inle.Enjoying scenic beauty of Shan Plateau. Observation and studying on traditional style of leg-rowers.Observation on floating agriculture practiced by local dwellers.Observation migratory birds.65 Species of water birds and other aquatic plants and animals and 15 Species of Butterfly.Overnight in Inle Lake.

 

Day (12)          -           Inlay – Indein – Inlay Lake  ( B/L/D )
Morning visit to 5 days market, NgapheKyaung, Silk weaving monastery, brass smith, PhaungDawOo pagoda and their floating Garden. Have your lunch at INN THAR LAY restaurant. Late afternoon, visit to INDEIN , also well known as dead AnkorWut, the places where thousand of pagodas are alternatively lined at the sharp place. On the way of back, choose another way back to your boat crossing through small water fall, bamboo forest, and small canals. Back to your Hotel and overnight.

 

Last King City Tour
Day (13)          -          Inlay – Heho Airport – Mandalay by flight ( B/- /D ) 

After breakfast, check out hotel, drive to Heho Airport, fly to Mandalay, transfer to Mandalay City Hotel*** or Similar,  check in hotel, relax for a while. Half day excursion to Yaw Min GyiOkeKyaung, at the foot of Mandalay Hill is a two storied building very much in the Western style with tall columns, grand flights of stairs and arched doorway. sightseeing in  Mandalay Hill which is panoramic view of the city Mandalay. Gave the city its name.Alothoughthecity was officially named Yadanabon or Mound of Gems, people always called it after the name of the hill. The hill top offers unforgettable sunset views of the city, the palace walls and the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner and night stop in Mandalay.

 

Day (14)          -          Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing – Amarapura – Ava - Mandalay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, (09:30 )am, tour start of Mandalay featuring Mandalay Museum and Palace houses a collection of article such as Royal costume Palm-Leave Manuscripts, Wood carving, Palace hall, King office, King bed room, Queen bed room, Palace tower. After that, boat trip to Mingun Village, visit World Largest Bell. Myatheindanstupa and village life. Back to Mandalay by boat. Continue excursion to Amapura and Ava, visit Begaya Ancient Monastery, Mae Nu Oak Kyaung, U Bein Bridge( this mile (1.6km) long wooden bridge across TaungThaman Lake was built with discarded palace timbers which have stood firm for over 150 years. Monks and Lay people stroll its length in the evenings, looking out over the placid waters of the Lake. The beer and iced-drinks stalls ont the baks sell fried fish caught fresh from the lake. Another Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda built in 1874 is ont far bank of TaungThaman Lake. Its design is based on that of the Ananda of 11th century Bagan although it is smaller. There are 19th century murals sh                                  owing famous Pagoda as well as the lives of the villagers.Proceed to Sagaing Hill, Swan OoPonnyashin Pagoda, U Min ThoneSae Pagoda, Silver Ware work, Earthen Pottery work. Afternoon arrive at Mandalay, continue  excursion and shopping to Mandalay Zaygyo Market. Evening sightseeing in Mahamuni Pagoda was built to enshrine the Maha Muni Image, nearly 13ft (4m) high. It is covered with so much gold leaf that its body has lost all proportion. Only the face washed with ceremony each dawn, is not allowed to be gilded. Each of the four walkways leading to it has a different character according to the wares sold in the shops. One is lined with the descendents of the Brahmin astrologers who served at court, practicing the same profession of telling fortunes and writing astrological readings on elaborately decorated palm-leaf packets for new-born bodies. And the traditional handicraft work shops one can see marble works and wood carvings. Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.

 

Day (15)          -           Mandalay –Yangon ( morning flight ) – Departure (B )
Morning check out hotel, drive to airport, fly to Yangon ( 08:35 )am, arrive at Yangon airport ( 10:05 )am. Continue back to your home land.
